We apologize for the recent temporary closures of our Bryant and Irving Branches. While both branches are now open for business as usual, we understand what an inconvenience it is to our members when our branches close unexpectedly.
On September 10, 2019, we made the decision to close our Bryant Street branch due to a strong, unpleasant odor from nearby construction work. Today, September 11, 2019, our Irving Branch was closed until 12:00 p.m. after we detected the scent of smoke in the building. In both of these circumstances, we decided that keeping our doors open could potentially be dangerous not just to our staff, but to our members. Once we received an all clear at each location, and made sure that the buildings were safe, we reopened for business as quickly as possible.
Closing our branches during business hours is not a decision we take lightly, and we thank you for your patience while we evaluated the situations at Bryant and Irving Street.
