The Nominating Committee is pleased to announce that an election will be held for three seats on the Board of Directors and one seat on the Supervisory Committee in 2022.
Nominations will be accepted from May 17, 2021 through June 30, 2021. Candidates must be members of The Police Credit Union of California in good standing and at least 18 years of age. Please note the following nomination procedures:
The Nominating Committee shall cause to be placed in nomination the name of one qualified candidate whose statement of intent as per Article VIII, Section 3, has been received to fill each vacant position on the Board of Directors and/or the Supervisory Committee.
Statements of intent to run for office and for what office the candidate intends to seek must be submitted in writing to the Nominating Committee at the Credit Union office within the specified dates. The written statement of intent must be accompanied by the written endorsements of least three Credit Union members in good standing and a resume stating the candidates’ qualifications. No later than July 20th, individuals nominated or not nominated by the Nominating Committee shall be notified via first class mail. Individuals not selected by the Nominating Committee may still be included on the ballot by submitting a petition signed by 100 Credit Union members in good standing. Nominating Petitions will be accepted by the Secretary of the Corporation between August 31st and the close of business on September 30th.
