Introducing Our New Platinum Visa Card Design

Important Information About Our New Visa Cards

Our new Platinum Visa card design will be rolled out to members this month, starting around the middle of February. If you haven't already, Platinum Visa cardholders can expect to receive a card with an updated look featuring our new name and logo soon.

Check this page frequently for updates and information about our new Platinum Visa cards.

Important Information About Our Visa Card Reissue

  • Be prepared to receive your new card in February, and plan to activate it as soon as you receive your new card in the mail.

  • You may use your SFPCU-branded card until you receive your new card with our new logo.

  • Keep in mind that your SFPCU-branded card will be deactivated shortly after you receive your new card.

  • Your card number will remain the same, but your expiration date and the 3-digit security code on the back will change - so you will need to update any automatic payments connected to your Platinum Visa card once your card is reissued.

Mobile Payments/Digital Wallet Users

  • New mobile wallet art will be available for your digital wallet of choice (Apple, Samsung, or Android Pay) in February 2020

  • In order to view the new card art on your device, you'll need to:
    1. Remove your old, SFPCU-branded card from your digital wallet.
    2. Activate your new credit card (branded with The Police CU logo) once you receive it in the mail.
    3. Complete the digital wallet enrollment process for your new Visa card.

Design Your Own Card (DYOC) Feature

  • Our Design Your Own Card feature is temporarily unavailable while we work to bring you Visa cards with our new name and logo. Look for the Design Your Own Card option to return in early 2020!

  • Members who used our DYOC feature prior to our card reissue: When our new credit cards are reissued, you will receive a standard Platinum Visa card design. Our card processor was not able to save uploaded photos used for previously created designs, but you will have an opportunity to recreate or update your DYOC design after you receive your reissued card.
