2016 Scholarships Award Recipients

Congratulations to our 2016 The Police Credit Union Scholarship Award Recipients!

Thank you to everyone who applied for our scholarship this year. The students selected to receive a 2016 The Police Credit Union Scholarship Award have not only achieved academic excellence, but also strive to make a difference in their communities.

This year we are pleased to announce four Scholarship Award recipients. Each of our scholarship winners will receive $1,000 to use toward advancing their education. The money will go toward tuition, books and other educational expenses. We wish these students the best of luck in the year to come!

Shannon Lee, a senior at Lowell High School, plans to study Economics or Business Administration in college. As a high school student, she has been very involved with supporting charitable events such as the Pediatric Trauma Program and clothing drives for women's shelters.

John Macaulay is in his final year at Milpitas High School and has won the Scholar Athlete Award every year. He has been heavily involved with the Police Activities League as a coach and mentor. Not only is he a star athlete, but he's also earned awards for top math scores and hopes to study Biology or Kinesthesiology in college.

Cassidy Paganucci is a certified EMT studying to become an Occupational Therapist at San Jose State University. She has demonstrated a passion for working with children and the elderly and has demonstrated commitment to work, school, and community involvement.

Jessica Sullivan is studying at San Francisco State University. She is devoted to learning American Sign Language and working with Deaf students.
