AVP Retail-San Bruno

We are currently looking for an AVP Retail who will be is responsible for the leadership development of staff.  The position will require travel to The Police Credit Union branches to train, coach and lead a team with superior member service, building positive relationships with all departments and peers.  Cultivate and sustain member relationships that maximize member satisfaction, retention and loyalty.  Follow our sales strategies and member development process with immediate needs assessment and fulfillment providing the opportunity for the credit union to deepen the relationship with our members.  Build credit union staff awareness and trust in our products and services by effectively modeling the advantage of bridging credit union products and services with their needs.  Have considerable knowledge of consumer lending credit practices and the analysis of consumer loan applications, as well as considerable understanding of real estate transactions.

High School Diploma required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience strongly desired. Sales certification is desired. Requires strong well-rounded knowledge of the Credit Union industry, regulations, operations and lending as would normally be obtained by ten or more years- experience within branch and or related credit union management. Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written skills is required. Flexibility, accuracy, ability to work independently required. A proven track record demonstrating the ability to identify, develop and implement (set/attain) staff performance objectives and goals in relationship to credit union campaigns, strategic planning etc. 

Ability to delegate responsibly and effectively; ability to measure analyze and report department production focusing on achieving measured results; ability to develop new and maintain branch business development /SEG relationships;

Mortgage Specialist I

We are currently looking for Mortgage Specialist I who provides quality service to members and is responsible for accurate, efficient funding figures for all mortgage loans, including Pre/Post Closing functions. Reviews and evaluates loan packages for completeness of documents and compliance with Credit Union internal policies, regulatory State and Federal compliance, Investor standards and secondary market lending parameters. Re-evaluate loan recommendations and makes final decision approving/modifying/denies loan. Prepares and submit recommendations to Credit Manager for loans outside of portfolio program guidelines. Prepares and notifies applicants of all requests which do not conform to program guidelines. Prepares and submit loan packages to Investor for final approval.

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Minimum one-year experience within a financial institution required with prior experience in funding and closing tasks desired. Requires advanced working knowledge and understanding of Credit Union loan policies, procedures and credit granting practices, and secondary market lending parameters, including laws, regulations that surround real estate transactions. Must be capable of handling a large volume of detail.

Risk Management Specialist-Loss Mitigation

We are currently looking for a Risk Management Specialist-Loss Mitigation who will maintain ongoing written and verbal communication regarding the areas of loss mitigation with department and organizational management, informing stakeholders of pertinent observations and status in a timely, objective and relevant manner. Assist in formal reports for executive management and the Board of Directors/Supervisory Committee. Monitor emerging concerns, and recommend revisions in and analyze effectiveness of the risk management program, particularly in loss mitigation. Active participation in departmental and organizational projects required.

Bachelor Degree in an appropriate field of study, or equivalent experience required.  Has obtained, or willing to obtain, formal certification through CUNA or other industry professional regulating body, in Collections, Fraud or Compliance. Minimum two-years general business experience desirable. A typical incumbent will normally possess two to five years of related experience (Member Service, or Accounts Receivable). Performs necessary assignments in support of the collection of past due accounts. Researches and analyzes historical data on past due accounts. Maintains complete documentation of collection activity. May be responsible for monitoring and reviewing daily customer activity reports to detect potential member fraud situations. Identifying valid and fraudulent transactions; setting up fraud files or other documentation, using multiple research techniques to resolve issues; reconciling and summarizing fraud losses.

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Minimum one (1) year within a financial institution in a teller and/or new accounts services capacity preferred. Prior sales experience preferred. Knowledge and experience of consumer lending regulations and underwriting strongly desired. Knowledge of all teller functions including all aspects (routine to complex) required. Proficient knowledge of personal computer operations including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word required. Proficient knowledge of electronic data processing and archive system. Proven ability to cross sell various products and services. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
